Heather and Ruth both went to see The Little Dog Laughed on February 17, 19 and 20 – and kindly shared their gorgeous photos with us.
Heather:
Hi, been a reader of your site from the start & am a huge fan of Gemma! Last Wednesday (17th) I travelled to London from Liverpool to see The Little Dog Laughed, it was well worth going and I am actually going again to the last night can’t wait! Thought Id e-mail in my pics anyway!!
Posing in suspenders and high heels, Bond girl Gemma Arterton insists…’I look really average’
She won an army of male admirers when she played Strawberry Fields in the hit 007 film Quantum Of Solace. But Gemma Arterton thinks she was ‘not hot enough’ to play a Bond girl and that she is ‘really average’.
Her fans may disagree – and these pictures of her posing in stockings, stilettos and a coat for the latest edition of GQ magazine make her look anything but plain.
The outfit is reminiscent of her chase scene through the streets of Panama with Bond actor Daniel Craig, when she wore nothing except a mac and boots.
But, in an interview with GQ magazine, she said: ‘In comparison to many actresses I think I’m really average. When I got the Bond film there was this big hoo-ha about me not being hot enough. I have to say, I agree. I don’t think I’m in that realm.’
Gemma Arterton was struck with an embarrassing condition while she was shooting Clash Of The Titans.
The British actress, who plays Zeus’ lover Io in the Louis Leterrier remake alongside Ralph Fiennes and Liam Neeson, was left with scars and cuts after filming.
“I’ve still got scars on my knees from when I was filming Clash Of The Titans – we were up a volcano and there was like gravelly sort of floor and I had to roll down a hill and it was called the ‘Clash rash’; everyone ended up getting it, just cuts all over themselves,” she said.
But rather than moaning about the injuries, Gemma – who told how she loved being able to take part in the action scenes and tried to do all her own stunts – is proud to show them off as battle scars.
“It was good though. It was kind of like marks to show how hard I worked, on my knees. They are there forever,” she added.
Hannah met Gemma at the Garrick theatre – and shared her experience and a gorgeous photo with us!
Ok, here you go
Yeah I met her outside the theatre, I told her it was me that she sent the letter to saying about how I was the first person she had recieved a drawing from, and she said she smiled a really big smile, said she remembered, asked me how my exams went (can’t believe she remembered that!!!) and when i told her i got an A* in drama she squealed “OH MY GOD, WELL DONE!!!” and hugged me!!! Then, amazingly, and I have no idea how she remembers this, but I handed her my leaflet to sign and she said “It’s Hannah, isn’t it?” I was like YOU REMEMBER ME!! aaaaahhhh!! Most awesome experience ever, she’s absolutely lovely, I wish all celebrities were like her!

Gemma Arterton says the experience of playing a kidnap victim was “physically exhausting”.
The actress, who shot to fame in the St Trinian’s movie and Bond film Quantum Of Solace, took on the role in the film The Disappearance Of Alice Creed.
She said: “I actually didn’t realise when I was doing it that it was really hard, you know, I’d just go straight to bed – I was exhausted and often I was in tears for like eight hours a day.”
Gemma, 24, went on: “It was physically exhausting, because I was handcuffed and tied to a bed.
“It was full on, but that’s why I love acting, all these different experiences that you would never have in your own life, hopefully, you know, so it was great, a great experience.”
The Disappearance Of Alice Creed was the feature film debut of writer-director J Blakeson and was shown at the London Film Festival last year.
This year’s FHM’s 100 Sexiest Women in the World competition launched just this week. The voting is open for six weeks, after which FHM will count up all the votes. At the beginning of May they will reveal who’s made it into this year’s Top 100, and most importantly, who’s won! You’ll be pleased to know that our lovely Gemma Arterton has already been nominated by their readers, so if she gets enough votes, she could make it into the Top 100. If she get the votes. And that’s where we come in. They’ve set up a profile page on Gemma at http://www.fhm.com/girls/covergirls/gemma-arterton. So go and vote for Gemma (hopefully we’ll get a new photoshoot if she wins!) and spread the word!

Gemma joins Holly & Phil to talk about her West End debut and her five new films!
At just 24 years old, Gemma Arterton has starred alongside Hollywood greats such as Daniel Craig, Jake Gyllenhaal, Ralph Fiennes and Liam Neeson. But she’s relishing the opportunity to be back on stage.
Gemma is appearing in new play A Little Dog Laughed, about the shallow and superficial world of show business. It’s a cautionary tale of a handsome film actor, played by Rupert Friend, who tries to come out of the closet.
It’s important that you follow the profile @AliceCreedMovie for two reasons:
1. If you win @AliceCreedMovie will be able to privately message you.
2: @AliceCreedMovie would love to have you on board!
There are two prizes to be won: one winner will be announced this Friday (26th Feb) and the other will be announced next Friday (5th March).

Gemma Arterton was having a ball as she celebrated the impact Lottery funding has had around the UK.
Casino Royale [sic!] star Gemma teamed up with dancers from the English National Ballet as well as youth groups to raise awareness of the £25 million raised by Lottery players each week towards good causes.
They were launching a six-week nationwide tour – the National Lottery’s Britain Has Balls Tour – which will call at various locations to spread the word.
Bond Girl Gemma Arterton has dropped two dress sizes after cutting down on alcohol.
The 24-year-old was pictured with what seemed to be a double chin (sic!) last year, but there wasn’t an inch of spare flesh on her when I caught up with her at the War Child concert in London last week – and she puts it all down to the demands of her West End play The Little Dog Laughed.
‘I haven’t been drinking in the evenings because I’ve been working so hard on the play.
‘I don’t get out until late so there isn’t much time for wining and dining afterwards,’ she told me.
I’ve replaced the “Total Film” scans with our own and added the missing pages, as well as the new Prince of Persia pics from the article to the respective galleries.
These are actually bits from the current issue of Total Film – a Gemma feature that we don’t have the scans of yet. Expect those later today. However, they picked some amusing bits, thus for your entertainment:
‘Clash of the Titans’ actress Gemma Arterton says her co-stars fought over who got the chance to wash her during one particular scene.
Gemma Arterton’s male co-stars used to try and wash her with a loofah.
The ‘Clash of the Titans’ actress – who plays Greek mythological being Io in the forthcoming remake of the 1981 movie – was ogled by her fellow actors as she bathed under a waterfall during one of their fight scenes.
She said: “There’s a moment which all the cast found hilarious where there’s all this fighting going on, all these men being completely macho, and then there’s me in a waterfall with my hair down, washing. All the boys were like, ‘Who’s going in with the loofah to give Io a wash?’ ”
