Kent babe Gemma, star of the St Trinian’s film, was stunning in a purple number but told us: “I don’t think I’m the one everyone will be lusting after.

“It’s definitely Olga. She is so beautiful. When I met her for the first time I thought she was so stunning. I was pretty embarrassed though - I wasn’t wearing any make-up that day.”

Gemma chose a regal Balmain Spring/Summer 2009 purple gown for the world Royal premiere of the new James Bond movie Quantum Of Solace which was held in Leicester Square, London. She was showing off her long limbs - the girl must have been cold but it’s worth it don’t you think?! On the red carpet she later bundled up in a coat talking to reporters, she said “I’d show it off [outfit] to your properly, but it’s a bit chilly.” Gemma was wearing Miu Miu, white diamond butterfly earrings, a white diamond bombé ring and a white diamond lace bracelet - all iconic pieces from GRAFF Diamonds.

Prior to Gemma meeting Princes William and Harry at the premiere, she said “I can’t wait to meet them, I’m real excited!”

Tonight, October 29th is the big world premiere for Quantum of Solace. The event is taking place at Odeon Cinema in London, England. If any Gemma fans happen to be there we’d love to hear your reports (and see pics)!

The London premiere for RocknRolla will be held September 1, 2008 at Odeon West End. It will be an eveing premiere and will start around 6-7pm. No word whether or not Gemma will attend as she might be filming - but here’s to hoping!

Princes William and Harry will be among the first to see the latest James Bond film when the world premiere is held in London later this year, the producers have announced.

Michael Wilson and Barbara Broccoli also revealed that Quantum of Solace will be screened on October 29 at the Odeon cinema in Leicester Square.

The royal brothers have asked for proceeds from the event to benefit two charities, Help for Heroes and the Royal British Legion.

Stars of the 22nd 007 adventure, including Daniel Craig - who plays Bond - Dame Judi Dench and Gemma Arterton, will also attend the premiere.

Directed by Marc Forster, the film will be released in cinemas around the country and worldwide from October 31 by Sony Pictures Entertainment.

Wilson and Broccoli said: “We are thrilled Prince William and Prince Harry have agreed to attend the world premiere of our latest James Bond film, and are pleased this event will help raise much needed funds to support the servicemen of our country through the Princes’ chosen charities.”

Gemma and her boyfriend John Nolan attended the Empire Awards tonight. Unfortunately, Ms Arterton didn’t win the Best Newcomer award. The equally talented Sam Riley won it instead. At least the award went to someone who deserved it too, so I’m not sad.

At the event, the young actress opened up about her new Bond girl role alongside Daniel Craig in Quantum of Solace. She said: “It was scary at first but it turned out great.”

Down to earth Gemma even took an extra goodie bag back for her mum.

A few hours later, Gemma went to the Empire Awards Drinks Reception where she met fellow St Trinian’s co-star Talulah Riley.

For the last five years First Light Movies has hosted a star-studded awards ceremony, at the ODEON West End in London’s Leicester Square, to recognise the best of the year’s First Light Movies films.

The Awards have been dubbed the mini Oscars and are an amazing opportunity for the film industry to support and praise the achievements of the next generation of filmmakers.

This year was no different.

A galaxy of stars were to judge films made by young people from schools, youth groups and other organisations who were vying for awards in nine categories including Best Screenplay and Best Animation. This year’s crop of winners were revealed during the awards ceremony, supported by the UK Film Council, at the ODEON Leicester Square on 4 March. The ceremony was hosted by Big Brother presenter Davina McCall. Kevin Spacey, Sir Ian McKellen, Naomie Harris and Anna Popplewell were among those who attended the event.

Pictures have now been added of Gemma Arterton at the Paris Fashion Week show for her favorite label Louis Vuitton. Our girl is once again a brunette and looking great! Does it mean that she’s finished filming Quantum of Solace? She’s previously said that she wouldn’t be going to all the locations. Only London and Panama.

She led a school revolution in the recent St. Trinian’s film and will soon be dicing with death in the new Bond movie, but actor Gemma Arterton faced her toughest assignment yet on Monday when she was grilled by pupils at a Hampstead school.

The 23-year-old star, who beat 1,500 other contenders to the ­coveted Bond girl role, was quizzed by the enquiring minds of year 5 and 6 youngsters at Christchurch Primary School.

Thanks to close ties between parents of pupils at the school and the movie industry, the children are taking on the mantle of Hollywood producers. Over the course of the term, they will learn how to use ­camcorders, edit their shots and will work with costume designers from The Golden Compass before premiering the short films they have made at The Everyman Cinema ­later in the year.

As we reported ealier, a press conference and photocall for the 22nd James Bond film, now officially titled Quantum of Solace was held earlier today. Gemma, as well as Daniel Craig and fellow bond girl Olga Kurylenko were in attendance. I have added the first available photos with many more to come! Gemma looks great here, I really adore her look and she’s totally rockin’ the new hair!

I came across an appearance that we’d previously missed - Gemma attended the Paris Fashion Week Vuitton Unveils Blason Fine Jewelry by Pharrell Williams and Camille Miceli event in Paris, France on January 21, 2008. As you may notice, Gemma has dyed her hair and is now sporting a red shade. She’s looking very pretty and I like what she’s wearing!

Sony Pictures have confirmed that there will be a press conference for Bond 22 tomorrow. The press conference will take place in Pinewood Studios near London. Additionally, there will be a photo call.

Most of the main cast will be attending: Daniel Craig, Olga Kurylenko, Gemma Arterton, Mathieu Amalric, Jeffrey Wright and Dame Judi Dench. Director Marc Forster and producders Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson will also be there.

It is not known if the title is revealed tomorrow.
