Bond girl Gemma Arterton may have worked her way to Hollywood stardom but it seems the Quantum Of Solace star is ready to go back to school.

The 22-year-old Briton, who is filming her next blockbuster Prince Of Persia, hopes to star in a sequel to St Trinian’s, the boarding-school movie that launched her career.

‘There is talk of a St Trinian’s 2 and I will definitely do it,’ Gemma told the Mail Online.

‘It was my first big film and I will never forget that. I hope it goes ahead as I had such a good time making the first one.’

Commes des Garçons designer Rei Kawakubo has launched her designer range for H&M, following in the footsteps of Stella McCartney, Karl Lagerfeld and Viktor & Rolf who have also created diffusion lines for the high street chain. Bond girl Gemma Arterton, fellow actress Jaime Winstone and model Jourdan Dunn were among those checking out the collection in the Regent Street flagship on Wednesday night.

ComingSoon reports Quantum of Solace has blown away foreign box office rivals as the 22nd James Bond installment earned $106.5 million at 9,870 theaters in 60 territories — the 11th biggest international weekend ever.

Underlining Bond’s global popularity, Sony-MGM’s Bond pic averaged a an impressive $10,790 per location. It has reached an eye-popping $160.3 million internationally in its first 10 days even though it still hasn’t opened in Australia, Japan, Mexico and Spain.

Solace, which launched last weekend in the U.K., France and Sweden, took in more than triple the combined foreign take for the next four entries — High School Musical 3: Senior Year, Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa, Body of Lies and Saw V.

Solace pulled in the second largest international weekend in 2008, trailing only the $146.6 million debut of Indiana Jones and Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. It topped the bows of Casino Royale — top foreign grosser among Bond films at $429 million — in each of its 57 new markets, with the openings in 13 of those markets more than doubling the Casino launches.

Quantum of Solace opens in North American theaters this Friday, November 14th.

In the film the actress plays fiesty Agent Fields - an MI6 spy.

Being part of the 22nd movie in the massive decade spanning James Bond franchise is a dream come true for the 22 year old from Kent.

“It’s a brilliant job. Each time you step on set you’re like ‘Oh, yeah, this is a huge deal.’ But I just kept on thinking ‘This is just another film,’ which helped in a way.”

The poster for The Boat That Rocked, a film to be released in 2009 directed by Richard Curtis has been released. There are also four character banners released as well. None feature Gemma, but she does have a role in the movie as a girl named Desiree.

The Boat That Rocked is an ensemble comedy in which the romance takes place between the young people of the ’60s and pop music. It’s about a band of rogue DJs that captivated Britain, playing the music that defined a generation and standing up to a government that, incomprehensibly, preferred jazz.

ComingSoon reports, The new James Bond film, Quantum of Solace, got off to a big start on home turf Friday, taking $8 million (£4.94 million) on its first day at U.K. theaters.

Variety says the big day one haul, which was powered by lots of advance ticket sales, makes Solace the biggest Friday opening of all time in the U.K.

The previous Friday best was Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, which earned $6.5 million (£4 million). Casino Royale did $4.7 million on its opening Friday but, unlike “Solace,” it had Thursday previews.

Quantum of Solace doesn’t open in North America until November 14.

Gemma Arterton feels like “a piece of riff-raff” in Hollywood.

The Kent-born actress - who stars alongside Daniel Craig in upcoming James Bond movie ‘Quantum of Solace’ - doesn’t think she fits in when she is at exclusive parties and movie industry events.

She said: “I’m from a working-class background, so I can’t get my head around spending hundreds of pounds on clothes. I went to a Louis Vuitton party in Paris, France, recently. It was rather posh - I felt like a piece of riff-raff!”

Gemma chose a regal Balmain Spring/Summer 2009 purple gown for the world Royal premiere of the new James Bond movie Quantum Of Solace which was held in Leicester Square, London. She was showing off her long limbs - the girl must have been cold but it’s worth it don’t you think?! On the red carpet she later bundled up in a coat talking to reporters, she said “I’d show it off [outfit] to your properly, but it’s a bit chilly.” Gemma was wearing Miu Miu, white diamond butterfly earrings, a white diamond bombé ring and a white diamond lace bracelet - all iconic pieces from GRAFF Diamonds.

Prior to Gemma meeting Princes William and Harry at the premiere, she said “I can’t wait to meet them, I’m real excited!”
