Lo Que Pasa En Tenerife (via CS) has posted four images of the under construction set of the upcoming epic Clash of the Titans from the National Park of the Teide, in Tenerife, Spain. The globe-trotting film recently began production in London and will include production in Wales and in the Spanish Canary Islands, predominantly on Tenerife, off the coast of Africa as well as reported aerial shots in Ethiopia and Iceland.

The film is a remake of the 1981 classic and will be directed by Louis Letterrier (The Incredible Hulk) and stars Sam Worthington (Terminator Salvation) as Perseus, who is helpless to save his family from Hades (Ralph Fiennes), vengeful god of the underworld. With nothing left to lose, Perseus volunteers to lead a dangerous mission to defeat Hades before he can seize power from Zeus (Liam Neeson) and unleash hell on earth. Leading a daring band of warriors, Perseus sets off on a perilous journey deep into forbidden worlds. Battling unholy demons and fearsome beasts, he will only survive if he can accept his power as a god, defy his fate and create his own destiny.

Also part of the cast are Gemma Arterton, Mads Mikkelsen (Casino Royale), Alexa Davalos (Defiance), Jason Flemyng (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button) and Danny Huston (X-Men Origins: Wolverine). The film is expected to hit theaters on March 26, 2010 from Warner Bros.
