Gemma Arterton has admitted that she felt uncomfortable when asked to do a naked scene in her new movie.
However, the 24-year-old actress, who stars in kidnap film The Disappearance of Alice Creed, insists that she didn’t complain about the scene.
She told Sky Showbiz: “It is nerve-wracking. I loved the script and I said yes to it, so I was like, right, this is going to happen.
“I’m going to do it, and both the boys had to do it too, get naked, and I’m going to commit to it and I’m not going to complain. Otherwise I wouldn’t say yes to the job in the first place.”
The star added: “I think it’s like doing a love scene or a kissing scene, any scene that’s weird, you just have to get on with it, it’s part of the job. And if it’s necessary, which it is in this film, it’s weird. We all have to do weird things in our jobs.”
