Gemma Arterton has said she was “flabbergasted” when she saw Jake Gyllenhaal’s beefed-up body for their latest film Prince Of Persia.

Speaking at the movie’s Hollywood premiere, the British actress said: “I was so nervous about my own work, I was just like ‘oh yeah nice body’ – but I remember I was flabbergasted.”

The former Bond star added: “I’ve seen a few bodies now, Daniel Craig and what not, but it still takes me by surprise. It’s always nice to see something like that.”

Gemma insisted she soon found out there was a lot more to Jake than meets the eye while making the big-budget action flick.

“He’s fun and friendly and he doesn’t take himself too seriously – but he’s such a talented actor at the end of the day,” she said. “All of those things make it so easy to work with him.”

The film may be based on a video game, but Gemma told reporters she’s hopeless at computer games in real life.

“I’m not a big gamer, simply because I’m terrible at controlling it. I did try and play it but I just died, I couldn’t even make him run properly but I did give it a go,” she laughed.
