Hannah Taylor Gordon tells me about Danny Boyle directing one of his Frankenstein actors, Benedict Cumberbatch, at the Old Vic on November 14 for a special one-night show to highlight the work of the Dramatic Need charity.
In addition to Cumberbatch, there’s a fabulous line-up including Gemma Arterton, Ben Kingsley, Eddie Redmayne, Romola Garai, Tom Hiddlestone and Charlie Cox.
Organised by the arts charity Dramatic Need, the show entitled The Children’s Monologues will be performed at The Old Vic Theatre in the run up to World Aids Day. Dramatic Need are an arts charity that help children deal with the trauma of war through art, dance, theatre, film and photography.
Tickets for The Children’s Monlogues, at 7pm on November 14th, can be purchased from the Old Vic Box Office from £40.
