Getting the vote of the public, Tom Hardy was crowned as a big winner at the Orange British Academy Film Awards 2011 in London, England on Sunday (February 13).

With the ceremony being held at The Royal Opera House, the “Inception” star was brought onstage after being named The Orange Wednesdays Rising Star.

In raking in the Rising Star honor, Mr Hardy ended up beating out fellow nominees including Gemma Arterton, Andrew Garfield, Aaron Johnson and Emma Stone.

The BAFTA ceremony was hosted for the fifth straight year by Jonathan Ross while being broadcast on BBC1.

Our most sincere congratulations to Tom Hardy, who co-starred with our Gemma in RocknRolla and Perfect. He’s a great actor!
