Save the world. Win an Oscar. Have a baby. Actress Gemma Arterton’s got her future mapped out.

The British actress is married to Italian hunk Stefano Catelli and even though she is happily settled she doesn’t feel ready to be a mother yet. Gemma would love to have a baby once she has been recognised for her acting talents.

“I’d like one of them first,” Gemma said about winning an Academy Award. “Then I’ll be ready.”

The 25-year-old beauty tied the knot with Stefano in June last year, and already feels under pressure to have kids. Gemma has joked her husband will need to take on more household chores before she thinks about getting pregnant.

“I’m not quite there yet, but as soon as you’re married people ask when you’re going to have a baby,” she added to Grazia. “I stopped drinking for a while earlier this year and all of my friends thought I was pregnant. And much as I love my gorgeous husband, he’s got a thing or two to learn about housework and cooking. I’ve told him when we have a baby, things will change. Fifty-fifty all the way.”
