Production company WestEnd Films has revealed the sales poster for Interview with the Vampire director Neil Jordan’s new horror-thriller Byzantium, starring Gemma Arterton, Saoirse Ronan, Sam Riley, Jonny Lee Miller, Caleb Landry Jones and Danny Mays.

While vampires are most definitely complex creatures of fantasy and have evolved greatly over the years (I’m still rather confused about how we went from Dracula to Twilight), but for the most part the monsters have three defining characteristics: they live forever, they’re evil suckers who drink blood to survive, and they have incredible powers of temptation. Looking at the first poster for Byzantium, and particularly the tagline, the new flick from Interview with the Vampire director Neil Jordan, won’t disappoint in those areas.

The new one sheet for the vampire movie is actually pretty cool. The artwork isn’t dominated by an actor’s face, but rather has its own kind of cool style. It also doesn’t hurt that the achingly beautiful Gemma Arterton looks stunning in a red flowing dress.
