HOLLYWOOD star GEMMA ARTERTON was out and about in East London on Wednesday night and she had her chequebook with her.

I went to a private view in Shoreditch of top artist CHRIS MOON’s much-anticipated show Reverie – not just because of the free bar by Mahiki – and she splashed out on some of his latest work.

Gemma said: “I’m a big fan of Chris.

“I’ve been flying all over the world recently, but had to come along and get a few new pieces for the house.”

Chris has been described as “one of Britain’s fastest growing art stars”.

He’s a household name in the making if you ask me.
