Erin O’Connor, Gemma Arterton, Rita Ora and David Beckham are among those who have lent their support to the Enough Food For Everyone IF campaign by modelling one of the charity’s 100 per cent recyclable wristbands.
“There is enough food in the world for everyone, but not everyone has enough food. Every 15 second a child dies of malnutrition. As a UNICEF ambassador, I have seen how simple, low-cost solutions stop children dying of hunger and malnutrition,” says Beckham. “In the next few weeks, G8 leaders could decide the fate of millions of children around the world. I want them to stop the scandal of hunger.”
The wristbands are available in four different colours and come with a removable pin which enables them to be customised. Wristbands are available from www.enoughfoodif.org, as well as Oxfam and Save the Children for a suggested donation of £1.
