HAVING had to learn French for a new movie role, former Bond Girl Gemma Arterton is already being bombarded with offers to star in more films across the Channel.

The actress, 27, who takes the title role in the forthcoming movie Gemma Bovery, about an Englishwoman living in Normandy, says: “I wanted the challenge to speak another language and now it is known that I’m learning French I’ve got all these French films coming at me.”

However she adds: “But I can’t speak French well enough yet. Sorry guys, give me another year!”
