Gucci collaborator Frida Giannini was the toast of the Curzon Mayfair on Tuesday evening as the West London cinema played host to a documentary celebrating the legendary Italian designer’s life and work.
But outside on a chilly night in the capital it was gold that dominated –and plenty of it – as Gemma Arterton and Mollie King led the way prior to a special screening of forthcoming film The Director: An Evolution In Three Acts, hosted by Vanity Fair.
Arriving alone, actress Gemma Arterton stood out in a gold trench as she made her way towards the cinema, where Vanity Fair’s European editor-at-large Jemima Khan was preparing for a Q&A with the film’s Brooklyn based director, Christina Voros.
The 28-year-old star matched her sweeping coat with a tan coloured handbag, while the remainder of her outfit was comparatively low-key. Gemma opted for a simple cream sweater, skinny jeans and trendy loafers ahead of her night out with fellow VIPs and Gucci ambassadors.
