METRO.CO.UK – Sport Relief 2016 had no shortage of highlights – but it was the return of legendary sitcom character Frank Spencer which had everybody talking.

The character – played by Michael Crawford in the series Some Mothers Do ‘Ave ‘Em – returned for a sketch which saw him rudely interrupt Sir Bradley Wiggins’ attempts to break a record at the Lee Valley Velo-Park.

Cue plenty of frenetic physical comedy that fans of the original series will be all too familiar with – not to mention the return of Michele Dotrice as wife Betty and Gemma Arterton as their now grown-up daughter Jessica (who speaks exactly like her hapless dad). (source)
