Jake Gyllenhaal spoke with MTV News on the red carpet at the 82nd annual Academy Awards. He talked about “Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time,” director Mike Newell’s adaptation of the video-game series of the same name. “You have no idea of what you’re going to see,” the actor teased. “It’s really good.”

Despite Gyllenhaal’s endorsement of “Prince of Persia,” most films based on video games have been met with harsh reviews from both critics and fans alike. But according to the actor, “Prince of Persia” is going to change that trend.

“I’m going to say right now that this will reinvent video-game adaptations,” he declared. “This will finally pull off what people hoped that video-game adaptations [are capable of].”

FemaleFirst reports the recent words pronounced by Gemma Arterton on her ‘former’ role as Cathy in Wuthering Heights:

Gemma Arterton is not starring in a big screen remake of Wuthering Heights.
It had been reported that Arterton was all set to star as Catherine Earnshaw in the Andrea Arnold directed movie alongside Ed Westwick as Heathcliff.
Speaking to MSN.com the actress said:”I was hoping that that would work out, but actually she’s looking for a pure Yorkshire lass – so any Yorkshire lasses out there who want to be Cathy in Wuthering Heights, she’s doing open auditioning.”
She added: “I think she [Arnold] will make the best Wuthering Heights film ever, she’s such an amazing director.”
